Photograph of a rare book receiving new bindery stitching in conservation laboratory at the Folger Library in Washington, DC. The expert conservator uses a needle and linen fiber thread to stitch by hand the 16th century pages to goatskin binding strips. The conservation laboratory provides conservation and preservation services to the Folger Shakespeare Library collection of rare books and manuscripts. The text of this small volume is in Greek.
