Photograph of a miniature oil painting portrait of Queen Elizabeth I of England and Ireland. Elizabeth lived from 1533 until 1603, and was nicknamed Good Queen Bess, The Virgin Queen, and The Faerie Queen. She was the daughter of Anne Boleyn and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty. The 16th century antique miniature oil portrait shows Elizabeth as queen with red hair, a pearl and jeweled crown, pearl necklaces and earrings, a red dress, and a high lace ruff. The portrait is titled ELISABETH. Photograph by Nathan Benn taken with kind permission of the Folger Shakespeare Library in 1986.
